NORTH ATTLEBORO - Michael A.J. Aptt, 48, passed away on January 9, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 9, 1968, in Attleboro, MA, the son of Geraldine (Kenney) and the late Alfred J. Aptt. Mike was a proud member and past president of The Laborer's International Union of North America, Local 138 of Norwood, Massachusetts. He loved camping and four wheeling with his family and friends and treasured his time spent in Maine. He was happiest at home on Falls Pond surrounded by love, laughter and the joy of his life, his children. Michael is survived by his wife Diane and their children Kyle, Michaela, and Thomas of North Attleboro, MA; his sisters, Nila Ray and her husband, Michael, of Bangor, Patricia Miller and her husband, Lincoln, of Marion, Massachusetts; his brother, Mark and his wife, Debbie, of Orrington; as well as many nieces and nephews.
