BANGOR – Helene A. (Trenholm) Wright, 84, wife of the late John H. Wright, died peacefully October 23, 2016 at Ledgewood Manor, Windham. She was born March 3, 1932 in Bangor, daughter of Thomas Stanley and Irma Lillian (Feeney) Trenholm.

Helene was a graduate of Bangor High School and Husson College now Husson University. She was employed for many years by Mr. Paperback of Bangor. Helene was an avid sport enthusiast, enjoying the Red Sox, College Hockey, especially tennis and football.

Surviving are two children, John T. Wright and his wife, Rosalie of Gloucester, MA and Gail M. (Wright) Waite and her husband, Darrell of Casco; one grandson, Darrell Charles Waite; two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Christopher Waite, all of Columbus, OH; a special niece, Lee Ann (Trenholm) Horowitz and her husband, Dr. Richard Horowitz of Searsport; two sisters-in-law, Rosemary (Wright) Fitzgerald of Pennsylvania and Jeannette (Wright) McDonald of Bangor and other nieces and nephews; also caring neighbors and friends.

The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments 4 to 6pm Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor.
