Obituary for Patricia Ann Morelli

Patricia A. Morelli
BANGOR- Patricia Morelli, 86, passed away Oct. 21, 2016, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Bangor March 16, 1930, the daughter of Carl and M. Patricia (McGuire) Trainer. She graduated from John Bapst High School and later attended the University of Maine.
Patricia married James Christakos in 1953 and they had three daughters which they raised in Hampden. In 1984, she married Louis Morelli, he later passed away in November 2003. Patricia was an avid bridge player and loved gardening as well as traveling to Florida in the winter. She worked many years as a collector at Merrill & Fleet Banks and Jordan Foods. She took great pride in her work.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents and a brother, John Trainer.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathryn Christakos, Karen Klekotta, both of Georgetown TX, and Julie Leyden, of Rimrock AZ; Six grandchildren, Nicola, Brian, Brianna, Billy, Brandon and Alexandra,; three great grandchildren; two brothers; Thomas Trainer, M.D. of VT and William Terrance Trainer of VA; many nieces and nephews.
At her request, private interment will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery. Those who wish to remember Patricia in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow St., Bangor or to St. Joseph’s Healthcare , Heart Fund, P.O. Box 1638, Bangor, ME. 04402-1638.
