Michael Alan  Cammack
Bangor – Michael Alan Cammack, 60, died July 24, 2016 at a local health care facility. He was born August 19, 1955 in Bangor, the son of Albert and Margaret (Berry) Cammack.

Michael graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1975, and became a mental health worker at BMHI. His true passion was being a musician and touring the State of Maine with the band “Hourglass”. Michael loved fishing and boating with his son and grandson, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandson. Mike was a good person who always saw the good in everyone else. He was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back.

In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by siblings Paula Crawford, Donald Cammack, Ralph Cammack, and Donna Sanders. He is survived by his son, Eric Cammack; grandson, Eric Cammack Jr.; siblings, Marlene Ellingwood, Juanita Lowder, Gary Cammack Sr., and Sara Bartley; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Michael’s life will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor.
