Obituary for Andrea Lynn Michaud (Roberts)

Andrea Michaud, 45, died unexpectedly April 14, 2015. She was born in Peterborough, Ontario Canada, July 10, 1969, daughter of Jeffrey J. Roberts and Joyce M. (Grant) Roberts.

Andrea was a graduate of the University of Guelph with a degree in French, and the University of Presque Isle with a degree in Education. She had a passion for teaching, and began her career at King Middle School in Portland, Maine. After moving to central Maine, she taught French at the Lewis S. Libby School, Milford then continued at Holbrook Middle School, Holden.

Andrea was a member of the Grace Bible Church, Holden. Her first love was her family. Along with Toby, Max and Tucker were the love of her life. She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, snow shoeing, and collecting sea glass. Her generosity, thoughtfulness, and creativeness always brightened others’ lives. Whenever anyone needed a helping hand, Andrea was always the first to offer. This was evident at church and school plays as well as being team mom for her son’s hockey team.

Surviving are her husband, Toby and two sons, Maxwell and Tucker, her mother and her husband, Joyce Roberts and Joe Mathews; her father and his wife, Jeffrey and Sheila Roberts, all of Peterborough, Ontario; her sister and best friend, Kimberly and her husband Ronald Loucks of Peterborough, Ontario; father and mother-in-law, Roger and Sidsel Michaud of Bradley; sisters-in-law, Denise and her husband Scott Tarzia of Newmarket, N.H.; Audra Leland of Bradley; brother-in-law, Timothy and his wife Michelle Michaud of Old Town; nieces and nephews, Payton and Kylie Loucks, Dillon and Isabella Leland, Olivia and Addison Tarzia, Timothy, Jr. and Daniel Michaud; many special aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Friday April 17, 2015 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St. Brewer. A service in celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Holbrook Middle School, 202 Kidder Hill Rd. (Rte. 46) Holden, ME. A celebration of her life will also be held at a later date in Peterborough, Ontario.
