Obituary for Christine Bonnie Fugel

GLENBURN - Christine Bonnie (Winter) Fugel, 46, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family on the morning of August 16, 2014, after many years of complications due to kidney disease. She was born March 21, 1968, in Stamford, CT, the daughter of Raymond "Danny" Winter and Margaret (Green) Winter.

Christine graduated from Darien High School, Connecticut, in 1986. She then graduated from the University of Maine, Orono. Christine loved writing and worked at a publishing company in Connecticut. Her daughters were the highlight of her life. She loved watching them excel in everything

they did. Christine was so proud of all their accomplishments including cheering. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, and friend to many.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Darren Winter and wife Beatrix all of Connecticut; her beautiful daughters Faith and Katie who meant the world to her; the father of her children, Garth Fugel of Corinth; a very special friend Marie Wilcox and many other dear friends. She was predeceased by her father in 1999.

A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, Aug 20, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, followed by the Rite of Committal at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
