Roxanne Therese  Papken
Roxanne Therese Papken, 25, of Bangor, died suddenly August 5, 2014 in Dedham. She was born January 14, 1989 in Haverhill, MA the daughter of Robert and Cynthia (Ring) Papken.
Roxanne graduated from Bangor High School in 2007 and was currently attending the University of Maine in Orono where she was studying for her Bachelor’s Degree in English. She was working at Paddy Murphy’s Pub as a bartender and waitress.
Roxanne had a personality that was larger than life. She was an amazing spirit, one who loved life and all it had to offer. Roxanne expressed herself in music, having a talent for both the guitar and singing. She was a friend to all who knew her and her loss will be felt by many.
Roxanne is survived by her fiancé, Shawn Stephens; parents, Robert and Cynthia Papken; sister, Renee Papken and her fiancé, Bill Stanley; uncle, Dennis Papken; aunt, Nancy Tarrantino and her husband, Joe; uncle, Walter Ring and his wife, Claire; aunt, Ann Ring; uncle, Alan Ring and his wife, Tammy; maternal grandmother, Jean Ring and grandfather, the late Roger Ring; great-aunt, Joan Theriault; cousins, Megan, Hanna, and Sebastian Ring; best friend, David Chapman; and she will also be greatly missed by all of Downtown Bangor, as well as by the entire staff and patrons of Paddy Murphy’s Pub and Fiddlehead Restaurant.
